Pablo Picasso

Picasso was born in Malaga, Spain, on the 25th day of October, 1881.  His father Jose Ruiz was a painter and art teacher.  Maria Picasso Ruiz was the artist’s mother.  He was fourteen when the family moved to Barcelona.  He is one of the most recognized figures in 20th-century art.   Among his most famous works are the proto-Cubist.  His works appear in museums and private collections all over the world.  He was died in Mougins, France  on the 8th day of April, 1973.  He lived for 91 years.
